Nevada Gold Mines is seeking ambitious students for a Summer 2026 internship focused on diesel operations. This full-time, paid program provides hands-on experience and mentorship within the mining industry.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects that contribute to real-world operations.
- Collaborate directly with experienced professionals in the field.
- Work on-site at one of the Nevada Gold Mines cutting-edge locations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited school program for Fall 2026 (proof required).
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (transcripts required).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, including a drug and alcohol screen and applicable metals testing.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering.

- Location: Elko, Nevada, United States.
- Term: Summer 2026 (May or June through the first week of August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Housing: Free, fully furnished housing provided.
