About the role#

Barrick Mining Corporation is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Co-op for the Winter 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site opportunity based in Elko, Nevada, focused on supporting engineering operations within the mining industry.

What you'll do#

Participate in engineering projects directly in the field.
Assist with geotechnical investigations and site assessments.
Document findings and prepare technical project reports.
Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers on daily tasks.

What you'll need#

Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong academic performance.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
