About the role#
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Digital IT Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This paid, full-time position is based in Nashville, Tennessee. You will work directly with our Digital team to explore new technologies and apply them to engineering and architecture projects.
What you'll do#
- Research, develop, and test digital solutions.
- Build prototypes, proofs of concept, and technology pilots.
- Automate processes and identify ways to improve current workflows.
- Evaluate and implement new digital tools.
- Document solutions, testing results, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to solve challenges and contribute to project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program at an accredited university.
- A major in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Interest in automation, innovation, and digital transformation.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.

- Location: Nashville, TN.
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person internship.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) during Summer 2027.
