About the role#
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineering intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Knoxville, Tennessee. You will work on-site and learn from mentors while gaining experience in the design services industry.
What you'll do#
- Support Engineers as they complete project deliverables.
- Prepare construction documents.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation for design tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Minimum age of 18 years.

- Location: Knoxville, TN.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Modality: On-site.
