About the role#
Barge Design Solutions is hiring a Civil Engineering intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Knoxville, Tennessee. You will work on-site and learn from mentors while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers as they complete project deliverables.
- Prepare construction documents.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new ideas and innovations.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation to complete design tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
- A current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
