About the role#
The Intern-Nurse II for 5 North Med/Surg assists with patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. You will help provide service functions and communication to patients, staff, and guests to support quality patient outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and contribute to their care plans.
- Implement and evaluate care plans as directed by a registered nurse.
- Provide direct patient care and support to the nursing staff.
- Participate in activities aimed at improving health care delivery.
- Build your knowledge of clinical leadership.
- Complete assigned goals and participate in ongoing educational activities.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
Location & details#
- Location: Memphis, Tennessee.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- The intern role is limited to a maximum of 90 days following graduation.
