About the role#
As an Intern-Nurse I, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse to provide technical assistance and support for a group of patients. This role focuses on helping achieve quality patient outcomes while you build your clinical knowledge and leadership skills.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and contribute to their care plans.
- Implement and evaluate care plans as directed by a registered nurse.
- Assist nursing staff with daily patient care.
- Participate in projects that improve health care delivery.
- Take part in ongoing educational activities to reach your assigned goals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program.
- Graduation within one year of your start date.
- Strong academic standing that meets or exceeds all program requirements.
- Basic computer literacy.
- BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of your hire date.

- This role is based on-site in Southaven, Mississippi.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with rolling start dates.
