About the role#
This is a paid, temporary summer position for students pursuing a career in health care. You will primarily support West AHEC with summer programming and general administrative tasks. Once these duties are complete, you will have the opportunity to shadow professionals in hospital and clinic settings based on your interests.
What you'll do#
- Assist West AHEC with summer programming initiatives.
- Manage administrative tasks as required.
- Participate in shadowing opportunities within hospital and clinic environments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or plans to enroll in a health care education program, such as Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Ability to support administrative and programming needs.
- Interest in gaining clinical exposure through shadowing.
