This is a PRN position involving variable shifts. You will work under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Care Technician to perform respiratory care procedures for which you have received training.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine respiratory care procedures as defined by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
- Support the respiratory therapy team in daily patient care activities.
- Assist in the administration of therapy and treatments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved Respiratory Care program, validated by an official transcript.
- Completion of at least six months of didactic training in a Respiratory Program with a passing grade.
- A state license as a student issued by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
- BLS certification.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
