Respiratory Therapy Tech Student PRN Respiratory Services

About the role#

This is a PRN position offering variable shifts for students currently enrolled in an approved Respiratory Care program. You will work under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Care Technician to perform procedures for which you have received training.

What you'll do#

• Perform routine respiratory care procedures as defined by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
• Support respiratory therapists and technicians in the delivery of patient care.
• Assist with the maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an approved Respiratory Care program, validated by an official transcript.
• Completion of at least six months of didactic training in a Respiratory Program with a passing grade.
• A valid student license issued by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
• BLS certification.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
