About the role#
This is a PRN position offering variable shifts for students currently enrolled in an approved Respiratory Care program. You will work under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Care Technician to perform procedures for which you have received training.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine respiratory care procedures as defined by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
- Support respiratory therapists and technicians in the delivery of patient care.
- Assist with the maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved Respiratory Care program, validated by an official transcript.
- Completion of at least six months of didactic training in a Respiratory Program with a passing grade.
- A valid student license issued by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
- BLS certification.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
