Respiratory Therapy Tech Student PRN Respiratory Services

About the role#

This is a PRN position for a Respiratory Therapy Tech Student within Respiratory Services. The role involves performing routine respiratory care procedures and supporting the clinical team while completing your education.

What you'll do#

• Perform routine respiratory care procedures as defined by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
• Execute respiratory care procedures for which you have received training, working under the direct supervision of a Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Care Technician.
• Ensure all work complies with established respiratory care standards and best practices.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an approved Respiratory Care program, validated by an official transcript.
• Completion of at least six months of didactic training in a Respiratory Program with a passing grade.
• Valid state license as a student issued by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
• Current BLS certification.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
