    About the role#

    The ADC/ADD Business Applications Intern will participate in IT projects at Bank of China USA. This summer internship provides hands-on experience in application development, database tasks, and the software development lifecycle within a banking environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Support application development projects, including data analysis and integration tasks.
    • Participate in project implementation and gain experience with database-related assignments.
    • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, user guides, and technical materials.
    • Support testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
    • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business users to support project delivery and issue tracking.
    • Apply software development standards, testing methodologies, and banking technology practices.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Financial Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Basic knowledge of programming and software testing concepts.
    • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application development processes.
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or PL/SQL.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
