About the role#
As an IT Intern at B&D Industries, you will work with our IT team to provide technical support and handle administrative tasks. This role offers hands-on experience with enterprise systems and professional IT operations. You will support our daily technology needs while learning how an IT department functions within a construction company.
What you'll do#
- Provide basic technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
- Assist employees with Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Configure and deploy workstations and mobile devices.
- Manage basic user account tasks, including password resets and access requests.
- Track and organize IT equipment inventory.
- Document support requests, asset records, and internal procedures.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior staff.
- Participate in department training and follow security standards.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as a student at CNM, preferably in an Information Technology or Computer Systems program.
- Strong communication skills.
- You are organized, dependable, and eager to learn.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
Location & details#
- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $17.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Up to 29 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, with flexibility for class schedules.
- Term: 10 to 20 weeks.
