About the role#
This is a full-time, 12-week internship program based in San Diego. You will work within the Commercial Banking division to support client onboarding, sales operations, and treasury management. Throughout the summer, you will participate in a capstone project, attend sessions with business leaders, and complete financial literacy training.
What you'll do#
- Assist with onboarding new client accounts and managing signer changes.
- Respond to internal and external requests professionally.
- Develop process maps, procedures, and Rules of Engagement for sales teams.
- Input and track sales team activities in Salesforce.
- Provide operational feedback and participate in strategic projects.
- Handle general client service requests, including account maintenance and user support.
- Collaborate with specialty deposit groups to understand client needs.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Understanding of banking processes, regulatory frameworks, and client service strategies.
- Ability to pass a credit check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
