About the role#
As a Content Marketing Intern, you will work with our marketing team to create on-brand content that strengthens our visibility. You will help optimize content for search engine optimization and answer engine optimization to help people find our insights across search and AI-powered tools. You will contribute to blog posts, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media while learning how content strategy supports brand awareness and company culture.
What you'll do#
- Research topics, audience questions, and keywords to inform content briefs.
- Draft and refresh high-quality content that promotes our services and team.
- Apply on-page SEO fundamentals like title tags, meta descriptions, and internal links.
- Structure content to support AEO through concise answers, FAQs, and clear explanations.
- Review existing content and recommend updates for better clarity and discoverability.
- Learn to use WordPress to publish and update website content.
- Collaborate with the team to refine brand messaging.
- Use AI tools for research, brainstorming, and outlining while applying editorial judgment.
- Research industry trends and competitors to inform our work.
- Support culture-focused content like employee spotlights and event recaps.
- Assist with recruitment, event, and thought leadership campaigns.
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and brand voice.
- Track content performance to help inform future updates.
- Manage priorities across multiple projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Relevant internship or work experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to explain ideas clearly.
- Interest in SEO, AEO, and how people discover information online.
- Familiarity with basic content creation and AI tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress.
- Ability to edit, stage, and publish digital content.
- A curious, research-oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn new tools and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Access to a reliable laptop.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in New York, New York.
- You must be able to commit to 20 to 40 hours per week during the semester.
- This is a paid internship at $20 per hour.
