About the role#
This is a 12-week internship program at Arcwood Environmental. You will work within the Revenue and Accounting teams to gain hands-on experience in a corporate finance environment. The program is designed to provide exposure to core functions while allowing you to align your work with your personal strengths and interests.
What you'll do#
- Adhere to health and safety policies and maintain safe practices at all times.
- Participate in the monthly financial state close process.
- Work within functional teams including billing, procurement, project costing, cash application, and credit extension and collection.
- Learn how functional transactions flow into and impact the creation of financial statements.
- Assist in creating, reviewing, and analyzing monthly financial income statement reports.
- Schedule and reconcile accounts while learning about the balance sheet statement.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support the department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time college student pursuing a bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- An overall GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher within your major.
