About the role#
The Water Business Line is looking for interns to join our team in Clifton Park. This role focuses on the planning, design, and construction administration of water, wastewater, and stormwater management projects. You will work on facilities planning for treatment plants, pumping systems, pipelines, green infrastructure, and flood protection.
What you'll do#
- Develop design reports and construction documents.
- Participate in process evaluations and detailed design tasks.
- Conduct fieldwork including site visits, construction observation, and sample collection.
- Analyze water quality data and evaluate plant operations.
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize facility performance.
- Perform condition assessments of water and wastewater facilities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for internal teams and clients.
- Attend client meetings and interact with subcontractors in the field.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Preference is given to local candidates.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
