About the role#
Arcadis is seeking a Water Engineer Co-op or Intern for our Summer 2027 term. You will work within our Water Business Line to help protect natural resources and support infrastructure projects. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in New Lexington, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate, plan, and design projects for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
- Assist in the design of treatment facilities, pumping stations, and water and sewer mains.
- Conduct site visits, perform sampling, and analyze water quality.
- Troubleshoot plant processes and gather operational data.
- Perform data analytics and condition assessments to support Asset Management projects.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other project materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Previous internship experience or coursework focused on water, wastewater, or water resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- An EIT certification or a strong interest in obtaining one.
- Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
