About the role#
Apprenticely is partnering with the Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville, Arkansas, to hire a Graphic Designer Intern. This is a three-month program designed to provide hands-on experience under the guidance of a professional mentor. The role is full-time, and successful interns may have the opportunity to transition into permanent positions based on employer needs.
What you'll do#
- Create marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, and print assets.
- Work with other teams to gather design requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Maintain the organization's website and social media channels.
- Develop and carry out social media strategies to boost engagement.
- Organize and manage digital assets like photos, videos, and graphics.
- Keep up with current design software and industry trends.
What you'll need#
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, iOS, or Final Cut Pro.
- A solid understanding of branding and marketing principles.
- Experience with content creation, production, or management.
- Basic coding skills in HTML, Java, and CSS.
- An online portfolio showing your creativity and technical skills.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude through past projects or learning.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- You must be a current Arkansas resident.
- You must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Bentonville, Arkansas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $15 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
