About the role#
This co-op position focuses on TCAD modeling and material processing within our implant applications group. You will work on patterning and implant applications for emerging semiconductor fabrication. The role requires a commitment of 6 to 9 months starting in September 2026.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with implant material processing groups on process demonstrations and wafer processing.
- Perform modeling and simulation of processes and document your findings.
- Participate in development projects that involve wafer processing and metrology.
- Present progress updates during group meetings.
- Support process engineering tasks including procurement, shipping samples, and tracking inventory.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Doctoral program for Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Hands-on experience with thin film characterization techniques like ellipsometry, electrical IV/CV measurements, FTIR, microscopy, and mechanical properties testing.
- Familiarity with modeling methodologies such as FEM, Monte Carlo simulations, and TCAD.
- Knowledge of modeling automation techniques.
