About the role#
As an IT Helpdesk Intern, you will support our growing team and the technology employees rely on every day. You will work directly with users to troubleshoot account, application, and hardware issues while deploying and maintaining laptops, workstations, and other systems. This role provides hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of corporate IT, including onboarding, account administration, inventory management, and cybersecurity tasks. You will also provide responsive support to company executives.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot day-to-day user issues involving accounts, applications, hardware, and IT systems.
- Create and configure accounts for new employees.
- Deploy and configure new laptops and workstations.
- Set up desks and associated IT equipment for new and existing employees.
- Diagnose malfunctioning or aging systems and coordinate hardware swaps.
- Patch and maintain employee systems.
- Configure and manage systems used across the organization.
- Assist with cybersecurity and compliance-related tasks.
- Tag IT equipment and maintain accurate hardware inventory.
- Provide IT onboarding and training to new employees.
- Provide responsive support to executives.
- Help maintain reliable IT operations as the company scales.
What you'll need#
- Enrolled in at least a bachelor’s degree program, entering your Junior or Senior year.
- Prior internship experience, or significant project team, laboratory, or relevant hands-on technical experience.
- Preferred: GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Preferred: Experience troubleshooting computers, applications, accounts, or other end-user technology.
- Preferred: Experience in a University club or organization, leadership role preferred.
- Preferred: Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Preferred: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Preferred: Ability to work effectively with users across different roles and levels of the organization.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, five days per week.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: Paid position with a relocation and housing stipend.
