About the role#
As a Facilities Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning, maintenance, and improvement of facility infrastructure. You will work alongside Facilities and Engineering teams to contribute to projects related to building systems, utilities, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Assist with facility and infrastructure projects, including planning, design support, analysis, and implementation.
- Support efforts to improve operational efficiency, utility usage, and sustainability performance.
- Help develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, specifications, and project records.
- Provide drafting and design support for facility layouts, systems, and infrastructure updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution and operational objectives.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support facilities engineering and operations initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar computer-aided design software.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, or technical documentation.
- Basic understanding of building systems, utilities, facility infrastructure, or sustainability concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to organize technical information and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.

- Modality: On-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
- The expected wage range for this position is $25 to $46 per hour.
