Information Technology Intern

About the role#

The Information Technology Intern supports local IT operations at the New York office. This is a full-time, on-site, paid position with a rolling term.

What you'll do#

• Troubleshoot and maintain employee computers, including both Windows and Mac systems.
• Configure hardware and software and set up computers for new hires.
• Reset used computers to determine reusability and prepare necessary equipment.
• Manage legacy IT assets, assess their condition, and create a comprehensive inventory.
• Organize the IT server room and coordinate the disposal of outdated equipment with recycling vendors.
• Provide daily support to computer network users.
• Assist with lifting boxes weighing approximately 25 to 40 pounds.

What you'll need#

• Proficiency with Windows PC environments.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A meticulous, analytical, and independent approach to work.
• Current enrollment or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Cybersecurity.
• An IT operational background is considered a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is considered a plus.
