About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join our actuarial team in League City, Texas, to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry. This full-time role requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is strictly an on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate risk and set appropriate pricing.
- Analyze trends and patterns using data and analytics.
- Use predictive models to forecast future risks and trends.
- Enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in professional development experiences and cross-company spotlight sessions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited institution with Junior standing or higher.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Pursuit of a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Access, and Word.
