About the role#
This internship focuses on health services research. You will work under the supervision of senior researchers to gain experience in scientific inquiry. This position can fulfill practicum or thesis requirements for your academic program. You will participate in data analysis, draft research proposals, and prepare manuscripts for publication.
What you'll do#
- Conduct literature reviews on cancer care access and disparities.
- Analyze data related to cancer care studies.
- Build databases and prepare tables or figures for scientific presentations.
- Lead or co-lead a research project in health services research.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s degree program or higher.
- Experience with R, SAS, or Stata programming.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote.
- Term: Fall 2026 to Spring 2027.
- Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid at a starting rate of $20 per hour.
