About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support research initiatives within the Healthcare Administration department. You will assist with daily operations, participant engagement, and data management to support the organization's mission of providing comprehensive care to individuals and families.
What you'll do#
- Manage recruitment and retention activities, including identifying eligible participants and obtaining informed consent.
- Conduct data collection through chart reviews, including tracking appointment adherence and screening completion.
- Administer semi-structured interviews with participants and handle transcription.
- Communicate with study staff and site providers regarding participant status and troubleshooting.
- Perform administrative research functions, such as data entry, quality assurance, and maintaining study protocols.
- Assist the study coordinator with SMS text messaging platforms and the development of participant training materials.
What you'll need#
- College graduate status.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with human subject research.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule.
- Preferred majors include Health Administration, Public Health, or Sociology.
