About the role#
This Co-Op position offers students the opportunity to contribute to meaningful data analytics projects while working alongside experienced staff. You will receive mentorship, coaching, and feedback throughout your term to help you gain professional experience in the energy industry. You will work with technologies including Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, Databricks, SQL, Python, and SAS.
What you'll do#
- Create reports and spreadsheets using Excel.
- Develop dashboards and reporting models.
- Conduct database and data warehouse queries and scripts.
- Integrate and analyze large quantities of data from multiple sources.
- Assist stakeholders in understanding operations through data analysis and actionable insights.
- Document data requirements and collaborate with business users to define project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization and relational databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Ability to organize and analyze large data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January through August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour.
