About the role#
Amca is looking for interns to join our Business Operations team. You will work on the workflows that keep our pipeline moving by supporting business development, tracking opportunities, and executing on new growth. This role involves direct collaboration with program management, engineering, and production teams.
What you'll do#
- Support business development and pipeline management processes, including opportunity identification, bid preparation, and follow-through.
- Track and manage active opportunities across target markets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical and programmatic inputs.
- Assist with research and analysis to support business development and program management decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, bids, and outcomes.
- Contribute to process improvements for business operations workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or graduate degree program.
- Background or coursework in Business, Finance, Political Science, Law, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record of high performance in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments.
- Prior exposure to defense acquisition, government contracting, or DoD procurement processes.
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing.
- This position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR.
