About the role#
As a Civil Engineering intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world projects. This is a full-time, paid internship lasting 12 to 14 weeks, beginning in May or June 2027. You will work 40 hours per week in a team-based environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform hydraulic and hydrology calculations.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Develop drainage reports and calculations.
- Complete design tasks using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Conduct project research and feasibility studies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program with completed junior level coursework.
- An interest in stormwater, road, or utility design.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience in stormwater modeling, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, water distribution, and roads is a plus.

- Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour, based on experience and coursework completed.
