About the role#
Spend your summer partnering with agricultural lenders to build your skills in financial analysis, sales, and business development. You will work with mentors who teach you about our business and the financial products we provide to rural America. This is a full-time, paid internship designed to give you experience with employee responsibilities and exposure to senior management.
What you'll do#
- Complete an intern development guide to learn about the Farm Credit System and our specific products.
- Partner with employees on assignments to expand your knowledge of financial analysis and customer relationship management.
- Complete and present a project to the executive management team at the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Finance, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college.
- Strong organizational and technology skills.
- Detail-oriented approach to your work.
- Ability to lead teammates and reach project goals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain professional relationships with team members and customers.

- Location: North Carolina, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1, 2027 to July 30, 2027).
- Compensation: $18 per hour, up to 40 hours per week.
- Note: Some travel is required. You must provide your own housing and transportation.
