The Sales Internship is a 10-week paid program designed to introduce students to the three core areas of local operations: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support. Interns gain exposure to business operations while developing professional skills through direct mentorship and hands-on experience. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for the Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post available positions using the internal candidate tracking system to expand the candidate pool.
- Evaluate resumes to identify qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Schedule candidate interviews with Recruiters.
- Shadow Recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain documentation within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Attend contractor lunches, networking events, and client visits.
- Shadow Account Managers through cold calling, client acquisition, and requisition qualification processes.
- Participate in lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Observe Field Support processes, including background investigations, drug testing, and unemployment claims.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a BA/BS degree, with a preference for a sales degree, minor, or certificate.
- Status as a student transitioning between Junior and Senior years is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service and sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
