The Sales Internship is a 10-week paid program designed to provide hands-on experience across the three core phases of the business: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support. Interns will develop business acumen by interacting with Aerotek employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for the Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions via the candidate tracking system to expand the talent pool.
- Review and evaluate resumes to identify qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with Recruiters.
- Shadow Recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Shadow Account Managers through the client acquisition process, including cold calls, client visits, and requisition qualifications.
- Participate in lead generation and attend networking events.
- Shadow Field Support during background investigations, drug testing processes, and unemployment claims hearings.
- Attend contractor lunches to gain insight into field operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a BA/BS degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Preference for students transitioning between their Junior and Senior years.
- Prior experience in customer service and sales.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- A sales degree, minor, or certificate is preferred.
