The Sales Internship at Aerotek is a 10-week paid program designed to provide exposure to the three core areas of the business: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support. This role focuses heavily on sales and business development, requiring interns to interact with employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for the Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions via the candidate tracking system to expand the talent pool.
- Review and evaluate resumes to identify qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Schedule candidate interviews with Recruiters.
- Shadow Recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Participate in lead generation and shadow cold-calling sessions.
- Attend client visits, contractor lunches, and networking events with the team.
- Observe Account Managers through the client acquisition and requisition qualification processes.
- Shadow Field Support during background investigations, drug testing, and unemployment claims processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a BA/BS degree, preferably with a focus on sales.
- Preference for students transitioning between their Junior and Senior years.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Prior experience in customer service and sales.
