The Sales Internship at Aerotek is a 10-week paid program focused on the three core areas of the business: recruiting, account management, and field support. Interns gain exposure to the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and client acquisition to candidate screening and placement. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for the Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions via the internal candidate tracking system to build the candidate pool.
- Evaluate resumes to identify qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Schedule candidate interviews with recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Shadow account managers during cold calls, client visits, and the requisition qualification process.
- Participate in lead generation and attend networking events.
- Shadow field support staff during background investigations, drug testing, and unemployment claim processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the applicant tracking system.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a college or university seeking a BA/BS degree, with a preference for students transitioning between their Junior and Senior years.
- Academic focus or background in sales (degree, minor, or certificate preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Prior experience in customer service and sales.
