About the role#
Acutronic Group is hiring a Legal Intern for our Austin office. This position offers practical experience working alongside our legal team on contracts and compliance. You will contribute to process development and various initiatives while gaining exposure to real-world legal challenges in the defense and aerospace industry.
What you'll do#
- Review and summarize key clauses in existing agreements while identifying potential risks and improvements.
- Assist with compliance and reporting tasks under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure deals align with company policies.
- Conduct research on intellectual property rights in government contracting, export controls (ITAR/EAR), and other regulations impacting our operations.
- Help create or refine standardized contract templates.
- Support the legal and compliance team with the maintenance of contracts.
What you'll need#
- Completion of a 1L Law School Contract Course is required.
- Skills in legal research, process improvement, and data management.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship based in Austin, Texas.
- The position operates on a rolling basis.
