Operation Digitalization and Quality Intern-Fall 2026

About the role#

This internship supports the Motion Service (MOSE) team in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, with digitalization, data, and quality improvement initiatives. The role involves a mix of technical execution—such as programming, reporting, and automation—and operational support, including process mapping and the development of work instructions. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, and IT stakeholders to improve process efficiency and consistency.

What you'll do#

• Support the development and maintenance of SharePoint sites for business documentation and collaboration.
• Assist in creating and enhancing Power BI dashboards, including establishing data connections to enterprise systems.
• Contribute to the design or prototyping of simple automation or AI-assisted solutions.
• Support process mapping of key operational workflows and document as-is and to-be processes.
• Develop, review, and update work instructions, procedures, and supporting documentation to ensure alignment with quality and safety standards.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting automation for operational metrics, KPIs, and expense tracking.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A strong programming foundation with experience or coursework in languages such as Python, SQL, or JavaScript.
• Experience with SharePoint or Microsoft 365 tools.
• Exposure to Power BI, data analytics, or reporting.
• Familiarity with process mapping tools or methodologies such as flowcharts, swim lanes, or SIPOC.
• Strong written communication skills for producing clear work instructions and procedures.
• An interest in quality systems, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
