    About the role#

    As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will support the test and design engineering team for mine hoist systems within the Process Automation, Process Industries division. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Saint-Laurent, Quebec.

    What you'll do#

    • Test winch control and supervision systems.
    • Test SIL 3 brake control systems for winches.
    • Develop operator interfaces for hoisting systems.
    • Install software for operator interfaces and system maintenance computers.
    • Write and update technical documentation and operating manuals.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Automated Production Engineering.
    • General programming skills.
    • Proactive approach to tasks and strong communication skills.
    • Experience with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) is considered an asset.
