About the role#
Zuckerman Investment Group is hiring graduate interns for the Investment Analyst role. This position offers hands-on exposure to equity research and portfolio management. You will work alongside experienced investment professionals to develop analytical skills and deepen your knowledge of financial markets.
What you'll do#
- Source, research, and evaluate new equity investment ideas.
- Build and maintain financial models, including company forecasts and valuation analyses.
- Prepare investment memorandums and internal research materials.
- Perform fundamental analysis on companies across various sectors.
- Research market trends, industry developments, economic conditions, and policy changes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Master's degree, such as an MBA, MS in Finance, or MS in Economics.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated interest in investment research, financial markets, and portfolio management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with financial data platforms like FactSet or Bloomberg is preferred.
