About the role#
This Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position is based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Department and work across various operations teams. This is a full-time, paid assignment running from January 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with operations personnel on a variety of projects.
- Design parts, assemblies, and fixtures using 3D CAD software.
- Apply Lean and 6Sigma techniques to improve quality, cost, and delivery.
- Create engineering changes and support validation activities.
- Organize and present your ideas effectively.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least your first year of college with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SolidWorks for 3D CAD design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and under direction.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
