About the role#
The Think Big Intern program is a two-year specialized curriculum that alternates every eight weeks between coursework at South Georgia Technical College and hands-on experience at a Yancey Bros. Co. branch. This program leads to an Associate Degree in Applied Technology and provides practical experience with diesel, electronics, and hydraulics. This is a paid, full-time commitment, not a summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a ‘B’ average in all assigned college coursework.
- Maintain ‘Meets Expectations’ ratings in conduct, appearance, and work ethic.
- Participate in all required safety programs and consistently work in a safe manner.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to meet admission requirements for South Georgia Technical College.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to work with mechanical concepts.
- Interest in hands-on, challenging technical work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
