About the role#
This co-op position provides hands-on experience within the environmental services and vegetation management industries. You will work directly with various departments to support ongoing projects and contribute to team goals. This role offers an opportunity to learn about our operations and participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Provide support to assigned departments on various projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks and develop solutions.
- Participate in process improvement and automation projects.
- Learn the technology and systems used by your assigned department.
- Network with team members across the organization.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and relevant regulations.
What you'll need#
- A career interest in environmental services or vegetation management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a current Driver’s Abstract are considered assets.
- Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification is considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact with employees and vendors.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
