About the role#
This is a paid, full-time co-op position based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Biology, Civil Engineering, or Agriculture. This role is open exclusively to members of the Tlicho First Nation, including the Behchoko, Whati, Gameti, and Wekweeti communities.
What you'll do#
- Support assigned departments across various projects.
- Collaborate with teams to complete tasks and build solutions.
- Gain direct exposure to environmental services and vegetation management roles.
- Participate in process improvement and automation projects.
- Learn the specific technology used within your assigned department.
- Network with various teams across the company.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- A career interest in the environmental services or vegetation management industries.
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Willingness to obtain Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to perform job duties and communicate with colleagues.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
