About the role#
The Woven Care Student Program offers clinical placement and observation opportunities for students to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and ABA therapists. The program focuses on pediatric rehabilitation and provides a structured environment for professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Partner with clinicians to observe and assist in the treatment of pediatric patients.
- Apply evidence-based tools and techniques to support child development.
- Engage in direct interaction with patient families.
- Collaborate across different therapy disciplines through co-treatment sessions and team meetings.
- Gain hands-on experience using the EMR system and completing required clinical paperwork.
- Progress from observation to managing a caseload under the guidance of a dedicated clinical instructor.
