About the role#
The Electoral Organizing Fellow is a four-month program focused on building people power across Metro Atlanta. You will work to develop new organizing skills while supporting candidates and growing the Working Families Party. This is a part-time position averaging 20 hours per week. You will split your time between remote administrative tasks and in-person field work.
What you'll do#
- Run direct voter contact through door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, texting, and relational organizing.
- Plan and lead recurring canvasses, phone banks, and voter contact events.
- Build and lead a core team of 15 to 20 active local volunteers.
- Train volunteers to lead their own shifts and take ownership of organizing projects.
- Serve as the liaison to assigned campaigns, coordinating volunteer support.
- Participate in coaching and training sessions while maintaining accurate records and reports.

- Strong follow-through, time management, and record-keeping skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including regular evenings and weekends.
- Reliable access to a smartphone and a computer with internet.
- Ability to start conversations with new people across different backgrounds.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Metro Atlanta, Georgia.
- The work is hybrid, with approximately three days per week involving in-person organizing, meetings, or events.
- You must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States, as we do not provide visa sponsorship.
