About the role#
We are looking for a Front-End Developer intern to join our team in Sherbrooke for the Winter 2027 term. You will contribute to the development and evolution of our primary tax software used by professionals across Canada. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the UX specialist, functional analyst, and product manager to conduct technical feasibility studies.
- Develop high-performance, user-oriented, and reusable web solutions.
- Build rich graphical web interfaces and integrate them with internal and third-party APIs.
- Document and follow web development standards while ensuring browser compatibility.
- Perform unit tests and fix defects reported by the quality control team.
- Analyze technical issues to find innovative solutions.
- Work alongside architects and programmers to research and implement web application frameworks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with modern web application frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Knowledge of responsive web design, including JQuery, Bootstrap, and MVC or MVVM patterns.
- Proficiency in UI component development and integration.
- Experience with web compilation scripts, deployment processes, and Git version control.
- Familiarity with JavaScript unit testing libraries.
- Strong analytical skills, leadership, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
