About the role#
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a College Intern to support the Water Resources Engineering team in Albuquerque. This role offers the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering projects while working alongside experienced professionals. You will contribute to the firm's efforts to develop the future built environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate as an active member of the engineering team on client projects.
- Solve complex technical problems and assist project managers.
- Collaborate with internal partners to deliver project goals.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a local college or university pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Understanding of hydrology and hydraulics.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, a positive attitude, and a dependable work ethic.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D, CUHP, SWMM, or HEC-RAS is considered a plus.
