About the role#
Willis Johnson Wealth offers a Summer 2027 internship for college juniors, seniors, or post-grad CFP candidates interested in financial planning and wealth management. Interns join an advisory team to receive technical training and mentorship. You will contribute to strategy sessions, observe client meetings, and manage a key project.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Investment Review books, compliance paperwork, and meeting summaries for clients.
- Assist in the creation of financial plans, reports, and presentations.
- Input data into software including eMoney and Morningstar.
- Conduct investment research and technical analysis using Dorsey Wright Point and Figure methodology.
- Perform stock compliance and trade reviews.
- Create and analyze performance reports for investment committee meetings.
- Identify qualified prospects for business development.
- Attend weekly Financial Planning and Investment team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Financial Planning.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Strong interest in a career in Wealth Management or Financial Planning.
- Ability to handle research, analysis, and organizational tasks.
- Initiative and the ability to manage creative challenges and deadlines.
- Professional appearance and confidence.

- Compensation: $18 per hour for undergraduates and $21 per hour for graduates, post-graduates, and MBA students.
