About the role#
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for the Water division. This role involves working from the regional office in Sanford, Florida, to assist in the planning, organization, and completion of construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with assigned responsibilities.
- Review project plans and confer with management regarding project requirements.
- Evaluate bids submitted by contractors.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing company procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform data entry and assist with daily administrative tasks.
- Contribute to the team effort to ensure project results are achieved.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
