About the role#
WGI is seeking a Civil Engineering intern for the Fall 2026 term in San Antonio, Texas. This paid internship provides hands-on experience on real projects for both private and public clients. The program is designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and professional practice by integrating interns into collaborative, team-driven environments.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on challenging projects across various departments.
- Contribute to team-based projects and individual tasks assigned within your discipline.
- Maintain punctuality and dependability while following company policies and guidelines.
- Take on additional responsibilities based on your experience level.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of study at an accredited college in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to adapt to varied work environments, including indoor, outdoor, and project locations.
- Current authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (sponsorship is not provided).
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation is considered a plus.
