About the role#
This Winter 2027 Co-op position offers hands-on experience within the design team at WestRock. You will gain exposure to our integrated design, manufacturing, and assembly processes while working on Point of Purchase (POP) displays. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and preparation of POP displays, including white samples and mockups.
- Create plant assembly instructions and manage project documentation.
- Organize project materials and manage outbound shipments.
- Contribute to design requests under the supervision of project leads.
- Create visuals using brand guides, templates, and other provided tools.
- Follow material guidance regarding substrate and caliper fit.
- Conduct ship testing according to established protocols.
- Participate in team projects and respond to customer demands.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited engineering college or university program.
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Packaging, or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to organize and prioritize your own workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Agility and a willingness to modify your approach as project needs change.
- Ability to work effectively with others to complete tasks.
- A genuine interest and drive to learn new concepts and processes.
